RIZZO RUNWAY: My solo dance about my chronic illnesses: POTS Sydrome, Narcolepsy and Cataplexy.

This is a dance I choreographed about my chronic illnesses and how getting diagnosed with POTS syndrome, Narcolepsy and Cataplexy has been life changing. Everyday is a battle. Not only do I have to fight my symptoms but I have to fight for my rights and to be respected. My chronic illnesses are rare and incurable and are considered "invisible illnesses", because you can't tell I'm sick just from looking at me. This then leads to people like me being called liars and people having no sympathy towards us because we look fine to them. This dance was choreographed to show people the battle I face everyday knowing that due to my chronic illnesses I'm no longer in control of my body.

(Fast Forward it and watch the Saturday performance one at the end, since it's the better performance.)
